1. The Railway Minister of India has officially referred the GZB-CNB-ALD-MGS part of the grand chord as "the most congested network in the world". 2. You do not get the point. I have met passengers in HWH Rajdhani whose final destination was not Kolkata but somewhere else and HWH was a part of their break journey. I myself am from North East but prefer Kolkata bound trains because of their punctuality and better management. In a way, HWH Raj is serving not just the traffic along the grand chord but also other routes(indirectly). And this point was written to show importance of HWH.

3. The only thing that goes in favor of Mumbai Rajdhani for SHS is that it is on a less congested track. The number of dedicated trains(originating from Delhi, terminating at Kolkata/Mumbai) between New Delhi and Kolkata is more than New Delhi and Mumbaii. Still HWH Rajdhani proves its worth. HWH Rajdhani has been called the KING by the Railfans from long ago. Yes you can sure give the title based on present scenario of the CITY, but on that logic we should start finding a new BAPU for our country(Mahatma Gandhi has got too old and mainstream), a new Iron Lady etc.

4. That was exactly my point. You can answer the poll based on your fanaticism or affection towards a train. But comparison of two trains on two completely different routes that as mentioned, has different criteria of intermediate stations, controlling, weather, congestion etc is baseless. Based on an excerpt from wikipedia "A scientific control is an observation designed to minimize the effects of variables other than the independent variable. This increases the reliability of the results, often through a comparison between control measurements and the other measurements."

HWH Rajadhani King kaha se rah gai .
Apne aapme me koi Rajdhani king nahi hoti .wahi same same coach ,facility,loco dobo rajadhani me h .fark padta h to route ka wahi in dono ko alag kar deta h.
Route hi kisi train ko king banata h .
Ab agar aap route ke liye winter and congestion ka excuse de doge to fir measurement ke liye criteria kya raha jaega.
Aur king declare karne ke liye sare Excuses ko side me lagana padta h .
Hum kisi normal insan ko kisi IAS se equal nahi bata sakte is excuse se ki wo banda exam me late ho gaya nahi to wo bhi IAS hota.
Bhai is duniya me excuse nahi chalte only result mayne rakhna .
Aap jindgi me bhi kisi mod par dekh lena ki excuse koi mayne nahi rakhta .
Yahi yaha h overall jo train 12 month right time chla rahi h usko hum us train se pichhe nahi kar sakte jo ki 5-6 month delayed chalti ho.

Friend, the JS have a very high priority on the route and can be called the best intra-SWR or intra-Karnataka train. It should be most popular train on route for short distance travel.

But in IRI we always speak of a king at the national level, and at his level many does not know the UBL-SBC JS. It is also not amongst top few JSs.(may be due to fact it runs over a mostly single line route)

If premium fully ac trains like Raj/Shat/Duro/GRs are excluded, the list of kings should be
(1) Karnataka SK (via NGP) (Practically fastest and no.1 choice for passengers)
(2) Karnataka (No-1 for historical importance)
These train traverse very small part of their journey in small SWR zone.

Udyan express have potential to be pride but slow speed kills its prospects. As a result more Bangaluru people prefer air route.

Muzaffarpur ka load karne ka achcha uppay hai ki trainon ko nezdeek ke terminal stations tak extend kar diya jaaye, taki unko MZP tak aa ke trains na pakadni pade. Samastipur, Darbhanga/Sitamarhi etc may be options

Muzaffarpur ki saari trains thode hi extend hogi, sirf excess trains hi extend hogi. Aisa karne se paas ke shahron ke naye terminals ke logon ko bhi MZP jaiseee suvidha milne lagegi, jinhen abhi MZP aa ke train pakadne ki takleef uthani padti hai.
