U can contact courier service, if need to avoid obstacles/pain through self parcel booking!!
In case of self, u can book it either separate or over same booking as per ur travel!!!
U need to contact parcel office of station & get booking done...parcel charge is quite less, i dnt rem bt hardly matterialistic but insurance charge will be more which depends on the bike price, which u gonna quote....combo, it mayb sme 2500-4000 (guess)!!!!

travel day, either get bike packed self or report parcel office sme 4-5 hrs b4 departure and thy gonna pack for u!!! If u hav sme link thn better, else these fellow create awkward reason/behaviour, just before placing stock in SLR...like no room n all (for a frd, i need to get thm tlked to secretary of known IR fellow n thn thy finished just 10 mins b4 Prayagraj Exp Dep, bt made it depart sme 15 mins late @ NDLS)...from TTE to loading/unloading guy would try to collect money from u...n so its been suggested to get it done via courier service, as it may cost 3-4000 for such short distance!!!!
