I have made an e ticket by 19262- Kochuveli express and the PNR No. is 8322415210. I could not able to change the boarding point at the time of booking, I want to board from Ahmedabad station in place of Viramgam. Please confirm that I need to change the boarding and if yes what is the formalities. I think that there is no need because after Viramgam, the next station is Ahmedabad. Please have a reply to my query.
I am not sure, I think as per new rule, if a person don't turn up after 10min post departure of train, then ticket is considered invalid and can be given to RAC person.

If you still have time of more than 24 hrs for train's departure from original boarding point, visit your nearest PRS counter with a request letter for change in boarding point with details as to why you couldnt board at the earlier point- meet the chief reservation supervisor there and he will complete the formalities
Do Visit Nearest PRS counter with ID Proof & Copy of E-Ticket,give a written requisition for change of BP from VG to ADI....Even if its a Next station you can't take a chance that your tickets will not be alloted to some one else by TTE showing your absence..Also there is no such rule that TTE shall wait for you till next station.Better you get BP changed to have a Hassle free travel.
