krishnameledom 18 blog postsMany times, i book ticket for friday, some 1 month ago, my waiting list will be 150 +. Aroung 80 % it has become either RAC or confirmed. I think some one is blocking tickets and cancelling it in the last days of departure.

Since last minute or few weeks before we wont get ticket, people book the ticket in advance. If there is no other works, or issue, they travel. else they cacnel out. This happens in all places. Especially in cities where IT professionals are there.
In that case, cancellation will happen after few hours and all.But in this case, cancelation happens some 1-2 day prior to departure.
I strongly believe, existance of some lobby behind this. So a person will prefer to go by bus, once he saw a Waiting list of 200 and all.
but is this heavy waiting list getting confirmed? They will be canceling their ticket right? so heavy waiting list will get confrmed rite?
In Bangalore - Kerala route Bus Lobbies are playing very well.
You see everyone know, Most of the People Travel to Kerala From Bangalore on Fridays. So most number of trains should be there on Fridays. But Unfortunately we have only 2 Trains when comparing to Thursday we have 5 Trains (AC Express, GR Express, ERS SF Express + Regular 2).
So Bus lobbies are influencing Railway board NOT to INTRODUCE any more trains on FRIDAY so they can charge Rs.1000 to Rs.1999 for each seat in their bus.
