What do you guys think should be the apt revised timings of this train to & fro once extended to Karwar ?
As of now the train leaves MAQ at 8:40 AM so if the current timings are un altered then the train should start from Karwar around 3:00 AM approx. so that it can reach MAQ arnd this time and continue its journey to Bangalore.. what say guys ?

Hari: MAJN was actually Kankannadi (KNKD) . This is actually a very important place for mangalore and i also see most of the passengers alighting here. Further to speed up the travel time.. I dont think Sakleshpur to Subramanya Rd can be increased but yes for sure between YPR & Sakleshpur can be increased.

YPR-HSN can be speeded up easily by an hour- train takes around 45-50 minutes to TK and another hour to ASK-around 30 minutes spent at ASK for crossing and engine change which can be reduced. then another 40 minutes to HSN-5 hrs is too long for the strech 4 hrs is sufficient time-that itself will give about 20-25 minutes slack

I agree, the station underwent name change.. how ever my concern is its quite far from the city.

Thats right speed of the train needs to be revisited and planned accordingly.
The worst part of this train is while returning to Bangalore the train stops at almost every station..really frustrating.
