couple of days back there was a news in local newspaper (gujarat samachar) that soon gujarat queen ll be extended to vapi. there was a meeting in ADI with some executive from central govt. and was said that dis proposal of extending the train upto vapi has been positively accepted.

nobody is against the pride of valsad rail.... but the thing is few places like vapi and boisar have developed tonnes ahead than valsad in recent years... so its but obvious that these stations ll get far more facility than valsad...
That's not a problem. Even now people catch a bus at an odd time to reach Valsad in time for Queen.
But this news of Queen being extended to Vapi has been going on for such a long time, each time with a negative result, that I'll only believe it when it actually happens.
Rlys say there is no proper berthing facility at Vapi - question is if any work has begun at Vapi to berth the train for 3-4 hrs at night.

Work is going on in Bhilad maybe ... Few months ago I saw that some work of Extending the stabling line at Bhilad was going on .
