Yes Varanasi needs a.serious bypass & not any electrification ...dont know why authorities are sleeping till date!!! What can electrification & doubling achieve if the stdtions are stagnant ?
I think they should cunstruct some new route bcoz presently ALD-MGS section is gateway of whole Bihar.
80% long distance trains from Bihar to other parts have to cross this section .
Varanasi Junction should get electrification and MPS of lines near Varanasi should be increased so some load from this section can be reduced.
