Hi,
I will be travelling to Chennai and have couple questions.
1. How to go from Chennai Central to Chennai Park local station? Is it safe to go during morning hours say 4:30AM?
2. From Chennai Park local station how frequently can I get a local train to Tirusulam i.e. the Airport?

u can go to chennai park station from MAS by walking using underpass

1.Chennai park is just opposite across the road to Chennai central..Walkable via Subway since its pretty early in the morning you can the road also.Should make it less than 10 Mins.
2.It can be every 20 mins or so but in peak timings you shall have more frequency. Check out this link it could help you to decide /search/6880/0/9243

Thank you v.much for the detailed info. Can you also advise approx. cost of the ticket and also if there are good number of counters at Chennai Park station? Also is there a way to buy those tickets in advance? Thanks.
Local tickets cannot be booked in advance AFAIK...Since its early morning you can get tickets at counter easily,ticket should be approx around Rs.10 per head no sure though.
