U mean via GTL-Pune or via GTL-Miraj???
But in any case, it will move to Kerala only, as MAO is under Kerala!!
Even, the shortest possible route isnt via SUR-Miraj, as its coming some 1396 (MAS-SUR, SUR-MRJ-MRJ-MAO), while its 1335.
Plus, less congested, as compared to MAS-SUR route & the summer can maintain its schedule with the same route!!

The Train is a summer special for the benefit of People in Tamil Nadu / Kerala for their holidays. I guess this is a right move. For GTL & Karnataka people.. SCR & SWR must introduce specials.

MAO in GOA & GTL-Hubli been shortest!!
Their exist train via Hubli & IR would be interested to scrutinize feasibility of this route, apart frm providing people intermediate connectivity!!
