Hi,
I want to share my experience.
Yesterday I Came from hyb to mas by 2760 Charminar exp.
Hauled bu WAP-5
I felt very uncomfortable for huge JERKS. the jerks are like,
...
that the loco is hauling like goods wagons. the jerks happened along the journey. I know that WAP 5 is having 6000+ hp. but why it is not having smooth pickup.? I have not felt till nowthat much jerks in deisel locos also.
This fault may be by that loco pilot or loco??

For some of the trains in SCR like for 24 coach trains (eg:- Venkatadri, charminar.etc) the coupling Technique between coaches are similar to Goods trains for better linking & strong bondage between Coaches ..Next You can Observe the Coupling b/w coaches from other trains to Charminar express.. U can find difference its visible .. directly
hence these trains frequently exposed to jerks , Me also faced same problems Yesterday ( 5-04-2011 ) in venkatadri express from TPTY-KCG

The Charminar Express is with CBC Rake (the coupling as like freight wagons), which is the prime reason for jerk, not Loco.
This can be confirmed through the Yellow linings @ Coach Border!

The jerk was not due to LOCO (in your case WAP-5) but due to CBC rake.

Jerks or no Jerks, Very convenient for week-end travels between MAS and SC.
It used to be very prompt both at origin and destination. ( no idea in recent days though, as i haven't travelled for a while )

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
