understand it is difficult to get the exact information but what is not possible at this platform!!!
Can be started with categories like Rajdhani, Shatabdi & Janshatabdi...
2: Excel or PDF export
Currently there is no functionality to export trains list from one place to another OR all departure/arrivals at one station. This feature will surely be very popular. The exported list can contain train basic information(Name, Number, Arrival, Departure,Halt,Platform).
3: Station Amenities
Information about basic amenities at each station can be provided in the Station information. This includes
a) Waiting Rooms(Y/N-- Number of rooms & basic details)
b) ATMs(Y/N-- Basic details)
c) Pre Paid Taxi(Y/N)
d) Foot Over Bridge(Number & a little directions)
e) IRCTC food plaza(Y/N)
I was truly affected with #admin's post saying that "This site is only for fans. If it goes down, no one would be affected".. yes it is true..
But let's make it Big,
BIG in terms of the information it delivers. Who knows that one day it might become the only Rail fanning platform in India that some Non profit organization backs it up to raise its bar even more..

I am not sure if Station tips will work for suggestion 1.
Station quota should be tagged to all trains passing by the Station
For e.g. Train A passed by Agra Station.
So in the train information, separate quota should be reported for each class for Agra station. Like 3A-40, 2A-20,1A-10 & SL-160

Thanks for bringing this up!!
I checked the Seat Availability tab.. Still not what I am expecting...It shows available seats but not the exact quota. Plus I had to change stations to get the availability status.
It can be like:
Go to train time table.
Hover...
more...
over any station name.
In the pop up , it should show all the seats quota from the hovered station to all other stations in the time-table.
