------------ Inside the "LHB Generator Car/Power Car" of all "LHB AC Premium Trains" ---------
Brief description about the LHB Generator Car/Power Car: There are Two generators in each car. The control panel offers several functions to monitor electrical load at different locations in rake, temperature and most notably the axle speed (in Kms/hr) of generator car. Which means a train have 2 EOG Vans and 4 Generators(Two in each cars of both ends). It is to be noted that the 2 generators of each car are not "Switched On" simultaneously. The generators are functioning in the following manner:
Suppose

for example 12313 SDAH Rajdhani have "Generator 1" of the First Car(Just after the Engine) is on and "Generator 2" of last EOG(Guard Van) is on to supply the "Power" to the "Entire Train" on her way to Delhi, that is in "Up" direction. Now when this train will return back from Delhi i.e in 12314 Dn Rajdhani Exp "Generator 2" will be on of the First Power Car(Just after the Engine) and "Generator 1" of last EOG(Guard Van) will be on to supply the "Power" to the "Entire Train" on her way back to SDAH. Because "Generator 1" of 1st car and "Generator 2" of last car will be in "Rest" when the train will return from New Delhi except the malfunctioning or technical problem of the other one in each EOG of the train.
Source of functioning of Generators: The "Staff" of the "Generator Van" of 12259 NDLS durnto told me about this functioning of Generators of EOGs during my NDLS trip in this train in last July. The Generator Operator of NDLS duronto was a "Very friendly Person" and a "Resident" of West Bengal. I and my father had a "Long Chat" regarding this functioning of EOGs during my NDLS trip in last July. It is needless to say that the "Pantry Staffs" of NDLS Duronto were very amicable and helpful. They helped us a lot in "Serving Black Tea" which is generally not served in NDLS Duronto.( I have already described my trip report in NDLS Duronto on 16.07.2014 in /blog/post/1350390)

I and my father had a "Memorable Breakfast" in the "Extra Table" of the "Generator Car" of 12259 NDLS Duronto in my Delhi trip in this train on 16.07.2014 with the "Generator Staffs". Great experience and unforgettable also.

As my knowledge goes 750v for each compartment is required in an AC LHB Rake irrespective of 1AC, 2AC & 3AC. Now 750 is to be multiplied by the number of compartments in the total train. That is the power requirement which is fulfilled by two rear EOG Vans of an AC LHB Train.
"A 60 kVA transformer with copper winding transforms the power given by the generator car from 750 V to 415 V "------ Please see this sentence in the "Other Equipment" portion of the following page whose link is given below:

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
