Grievance Description : Subject: Suggestion is about 12555/12556 Gorakhpur-Hisar Gorakhdham Express. Dear Sir, 12555/6 Gorakhdham Express used to get Diesel locomotive end to end basis. In recent time it has been noticed that for more then 1000kms the diesel locomotive is not doing good and got failed in between of the journey and causing delay arrival at destination and problem to passenger plus zonal staffs. A new EMD locomotive from IZN is also given to overcome this loco failure problem but 12555/6 is not getting it on regularly basis and the problem remained the same. By now till Gonda station, section is electrified and operational, Is it not possible to give E Loco to 12555/6 in between GD-ROK section ?? Down 12556 got delayed maximum time b/w Sakurbasti - New Delhi and Barabanki - Gonda section, please provide the cause of this and please look for solutions. Details : In accordance with the above, it is to say that not a single incidence has happened of loco failure of train no-12555/12556 between Gonda-Barabanki Sakurbasti-New Delhi in the month of April/2014 to August/2014. Sometimes for operational necessity provision of H.H.P. loco is not possible for its link. After analyzing the punctuality of time of train no.12556 for the month of August and Sept. 2014 ,it has been found that this train is received late by N.E.Railway from N.Railway at Barabanki station. This train reaches Gorakhpur timely without any further time loss and by making up the delayed time also. During this period this train was delayed in N.E.Rly. for two days only. Letter has been written to N.Railway to monitor punctuality of this train and for improvement in running time between Gonda-Barabanki section necessary instructions have been issued to the concerned division. Therefore, the case may please be deleted from the pending list of N.E.Rly.
