Grievance Description : the train timing between gkp- lko/ljn still not change since 6-7 yrs although track in double still train is taking around 5-6 hrs to cover 270 km.for what reason that train timing not revised till now.secondly when will they electrify chappra lucknow route .what is current status now. tell us.

Details : In accordance with the above, enquiry was conducted and found that- 1- Detention time of the trains which were detened for crossing during the time of single line even after doubling of GKP-BBK section, has been reduced. 2- The position of electrification of Chhapra-LJN section is as under. I) Chhapra-Siwan-Thawe and Siwan -Bhatni - work of electrification completed. II) Bhatni-GKC-GKP- To be completed up to March 2015. III) GKP-GD- To be completed up to June 2015. IV) GD-LJN -Work completed. The complainant has also been informed accordingly. Therefore the case may please be closed and deleted from pending list of N.E.Rly.
