There is no allotment of funds for the construction of pit-line in PGT dvn. As of now only at MAQ have the facility and this also not enough to maintain all the trains. Shortage of pit-line will be a hindrance for running new trains.
The chance of getting a new pit-line is for CAN stn.
The chance of getting a new pit-line is for CAN stn.
No Pit Line at CAN means there is no future trains from CAN. If asked for more trains, reply is that there is no Pit Line. If asked for Pit Line, the answer is there is not enough trains. Now it is MPs', MLAs' & Ministers' turn to highly pressurize the Railway Ministry to get it approved. Otherwise, Railway Development will be a standstill phenomenon for Malabar.
In the Discussion for the Railway Budget, Railway Minister is expected to announce some new trains & lines, including extension of trains. Doubling & Electrification of Konkan Railway is also expected.
