Many Years ago Black Diamond Express used to rule the streets here but later due to a fight in Coalfield between BWN Daily Passengers and (DHN-DGR)Industrial Belt Pax for seats at BWN ER had to remove stop from BWN due to enormous political pressure on this train and was pressurized to make this train skip BWN along with Howrah Rajdhani and Sealdah Rajdhani back to back at the peak hour. For BWN Pax a Fast EMU was started immediately by ER which is overtaken by Coalfield and Rajdhanis somewhere in HB Chord. When this train skips BWN at slow speed on Down direction Pax close the doors from inside so that no one could even board with a SF ticket where people board Janshatabdi with Gen ticket at BWN. Thats the kind of Priority it has and patronage. In UP direction it skips BWN at around 60-70 kmph after RRI was made. Due to this fact Coalfield became the Superstar of this route and seriously envied by BWN Pax because its the only Short distance SF that skips BWN and which it includes it in the batch of Rajdhani,Janshatabdi,Shatabdi,and other Hi Priority SFs that skip BWN.

This SF has most unique Slot in ER. Generally Sealdah Rajdhani OTs it at DGR and it keeps Howrah Rajdhani behind of it and so it moves in between two Legend Rajdhanis of IR which is very very special and later Howrah Rajdhani Parallely Overtakes it in HB chord. 12314<<12340<<12302 this sequence rocks Quadruple section at MPS cruelly everyday and on lucky days of Coalfield when Rajdhani gets delayed it enjoys the Rajdhani Non Stop Slot.
