I fully agree with you. SWR is staffed almost 50 per cent by non-karnataka people who have come to this zone either on promotion or their native place is nearer to Karnataka like Kerala, Andhra etc.To one of my visit to Zonal office at UBL i asked about Kottur-Hospete realighnment work so that passenger trains could be run via Kottur,and HRR, the official was not knowing the topography of the state.I had to explain him in English as he was not knowing Kannada and about Karnataka. When spl trains comes they are more interested in running from SBC/YPR TO AII,JP,JU,PNBE,HWH,ERS etc.A spl day train to RMM was not required. This is being done to avoid idle rake at YPR. They could run the rake to MAQ, MYS or UBL.No spl train is run from MYS TO SBC,OR UBL.If the situation continues with apathy from socalled NETAS,towards rly development i think an...
