The overtaking saga of the undisputed king and night rider of NCR, the 12275 Allahabad Duronto continues as it overtakes the late running 12801 Purushottam Express at Bharthana. Purushottam was the eleventh victim of 12275 Duronto that day ( excluding freights ).
As 12801 was being looped we were slowed down and hence the overtake couldn't happen at MPS like it thrashed other trains. Still by the end we were in continuous acceleration and by the time Duronto crossed station it was speeding at 115 km/hr.
This Duronto leaves no stones unturned to prove why it has got the TITLE ' The NIGHT RIDER of NCR '.
To quench my thirst of overtaking trains at every stations by blowing past them at MPS with Side Lower Berth in SL Class, Allahabad Duronto was the only option available for me. This Duronto starts and finishes it's journey during the corpse of night, puts up raw aggression which very few people have witnessed.
Despite of having such a aggressive Time Table and crawling for almost one hour upto Tundla, we crossed Ghaziabad 32 minutes early and finally arrived New Delhi 22 minutes early.
