FYI, French is still spoken by some ten thousand people in Pondicherry. The majority of the people speak Tamil (89%). Tamil, English and French are the main official languages of Pondicherry Union territory. Along side, Telugu (Yanam in AP) and Malayalam (Mahe in Kerala) is also the official languages of PDY UT. Puducherry government uses only Tamil, but it communicates with Yanam and Mahe in Telugu and Malayalam respectively. France even has a Consulate General in Pondicherry.

He meant the private ones from other states and far places. Those buses from TPJ, MV, TJ are operated by government only. The main problem here is, we have got an excellent road infrastructure. Since you can get buses to anywhere at anytime from any place, railways is not interested to introduce any trains on those routes even though the tracks lie unused. SR mainly concentrates on MS-VM- TPJ- MDU- TEN- CAPE line and MAS- SA- ED- CBE line in Tamil Nadu as they are the most profitable routes in TN.

yes Bus freqncy are very good on MS-VM-TVR-NGT-VLKN route and thats y SR is not introducing much trains but SR shud introduce more trains bcoz i saw there is good rush for trains on this route also in Kamban,Passengers, tea garden and even in LTT-KIK express so SR shud seriously thought regarding new trains on these route to NGT/KIK/VLKN/TVR

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
