just can't understand why dhanbad junction is being ingnored when it comes to starting of trains.....trains to delhi,bengaluru from dhanbad is really the need of the hour and dhanbad junction deserves it

Seriously.... I have only heard of a few trains originating/terminating from Dhanbad. They are Dhanbad - Kolhapur, Dhanbad - Allaypey and Dhanbad - Bhubaneswar GR trains.

We need a terminal facility at Dhanbad with extra platforms + a new loco shed at Bhuli or Dokra Halt at Dhanbad Jn Outer. Then we can talk about a Dhanbad - Delhi Anand Vihar SF Exp with stoppages at Parasnath, Koderma, Gaya, Sasaram, Mughalsarai, Varanasi, Sultanpur, Lucknow, Bareilly, Moradabad and Ghaziabad :-)

Here is what I propose. Since the DHN-KTH-CRP line will be closed and an alternate line will likely be built via DHN-TELO-CRP, why not connect Bhojudih with Dhanbad Jn with a line as well.
This would enable DHN to avail the services of DLI bound trains like the BBS Rajdhani, Purushottam and Nandan Kanan,SHM-ANVT...............while reducing the pressure on NSCB GOMO!
This will also increase the connectivity between DHN and BBS,CTK,TATA and KGP!
