Back with a Bang !!!! 12301 Howrah Rajdhani Express Via Gaya with Howrah's WAP 7 #30204 ABB Made at Raw MPS in Howrah Burdwan Chord section. Loco Pilot Acknowledges with a blink and which was like icing on the cake for the capture. Today it was running with extra coach to take the CC upto 21 LHB Coaches.

I guess If SER gets WAP 7 then it will be of SRC because it could get best possible service for a three phaser at SRC only ! Even WAP 4's are shifted back to SRC from TATA for obvious reasons !!!
Loco manufacture & dispatch is slow, too expensive for a loss-making institution like IR. FDI is the new support system, that we expect, to give it a new life... WAP-7 being alloted on busy Rajdhani routes.. Now you might understand what I am pointing towards...
I understand your point. I also understand that Loco Manufacture is an expensive issue as three phaser costs Rs 13 Crore(7 crore more than Conventional) but
in spite of these constraints we see bulk allotments of WAP-7 to RPM, planned for MDU of SR in near future which is a Non Rajdhani Route and many normal trains of SR is now hauled by RPM WAP-7 also

Splendid pic.... the Sealdah - New Delhi Duronto Express runs with a 3-Stoppage Schedule (Although Technical) that the Howrah Rajdhani used to have in the 1970s uptil the early 1990s... ab toh is train ke schedule ka band baj gaya hain :-p ;-D
Ab Duronto WAP 5 initiated Schedule pe WAP 4 leke niklega to zada expectation nahi hona chahiye !!!
