Hi ,
I have a query related to Group travel.
Group ticket of 6 people has been booked from Pune to Ambala by Jhelam Exp.
Out of this group, 2 people has to get down at Delhi station.
In
...
this case original ticket will be carried by 4 folks who are travelling to Ambala.
Then how these 2 folks will get out of Delhi station.
Are the xeroz copy of ticket and identity card sufficient to present while coming out of Delhi station or we need to do something else.
Regards,
Vikas

A simple solution to this problem is possible. The passengers who are to get out at delhi station without ticket should be holding a subh yatra membership card. These cards cost 500 rs. each and are valid for 1 year. The person holding these cards have the priviledge of going to any railway platform for free.
If anyone checks for the ticket then you can show them these cards and tell them that you were here to help there relatives board the train. No need to tell anything else. Shubh yatra cards can be purchased at irctc website.

Best way to follow Re# 149348-3 by Mr. Goyal.
20 minutes halt is more than sufficient for one of the passenger to accompany other two passengers till the exit.
I have done it no. of times when halt is even for 10 mts.

Yes this the best and good option . No problem at all . You have 20 minute and you can reach exit gate in any station hardly within 5 minute from any platform . and goyal ji has given correct answer .

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
