Does anybody find ET a such a big station to have so many locos allocated??
Almost every type of loco can be seen here also i have not seen a very big yard here , yes i know it's a major junction but i don't think it makes any sense to provide ET with so many locos with most of them resting all time. It's just an observation I don't belong to M.P , so I don't know much. Opinions & facts are respectably awaited .

Its strategic location and proximity to important railway routes all weigh in its favour.
ET is very big junction point for any Train.. People can alight here to change there journey towards BPL, JHS, LKO, BSB, NGP etc etc.. Many loco's can be seen towards left (travelling towards Delhi) there is huge shed available for this loco's.
Locos are allocated for service only, isn't it?
You must have seen them resting because of the loco change activities which occur over there all day
