Help please.
Tried to book 1AC seats on Deccan train 18th Jan from CST to Neral. I want to get toy train from Neral.
Went through whole process of booking and always get the following message

Still same message with AC chair SRC DESTINATION PAIR OF SAME SUBURBAN AREA IS INVALID
That suggests booking is not allowed for given pair of stations. Please try booking to a further station, say Karjat or Lonavala. The train has a halt at Neral so you can alight there.
As the error message itself suggests, the system is not allowing bookings between 2 stations considered part of the same metropolitan area. If you choose a station further away, it should let you book. You can then get down from the train and any scheduled stop including and up to the destination you reserved.
