I won't say, SCR is not at all doing any job over here. My point is SCR is not giving justice to demands of people. For few points, I'm not agree with you:-
1. Track Strengthening:- I'll tell you one simple example, if you leave Nanded & proceeds towards Parbhani, speed of train automatically reduces to 20 km/hr, why? because there is one speed restriction board kept due to track issues, now, this board is there from last 6 years, still they did not get time to rework on this...
more... issue. AVG Speed of train in this division is decreased. SCR is telling no of trains are increased, but fact is although no of trains are increased, but on this single line lots speed restriction zones are there.
2. Development Activities: No doubt, they are developing stations like Partur, Selu, Manvat Road etc. But, these station are declared as Aadarsh Stations in budget, that's why good amount of money received from IR. Also, these stations are making good business too. In this development activities also they are making politics, i've an example for the same, on Aurangabad station, in order to go from Pf. 1 to PF. 2 lift is sanctioned for physically handicapped people & senior citizens. They got fund and did the construction work, after construction work gets over, in order to put lift in construction work, SCR took 3 years. They are telling lack of funds. What is this? For almost 3 years, the construction is without having lift lobby.
3. Dual Engine: They are attaching dual locos, due to increase in no coaches of the train. If you observe, speed of train is not increased although two locos are attached to train. Although, Devgiri Express has two locos, speed of the train is decreased in Nanded Division. SCR is giving WDM 3A MLY Shed locos to this division, these locos are too old and having lots of maintainace issues. You will never find new locos attached to train of this division. Few days before, Mr. ssastronaut has shared a link to all of us, how SCR kidnapped our new sanctioned locos.
4. Crew Cabin Shifting to AWB: They have taken this decision, in order to have convenience to their staff. Crew change is for Parli bound trains, because from PRLI, drivers & guards has to come without duty from PRLI to NED, as from PRLI, less no trains are there, as compare to Nanded, where they used to join duty. Also, in order to take in-charge at PRLI, they have to go by own. In order to overcome this problem, they did like that.
Finally, you raised few trains will be introduced after MMR-MUE doubling work. Is there any work started? MMR-PBN doubling is not declared yet, only survey has been done. Chalo, we'll talk about MUE-PBN doubling work which was sanctioned 5 years before. With reference to this work, we'll require another 3 more years to complete this work. Soil work which has been done earlier gets wasted as we did not get fund in time. Now, they start working from PBN. If SCR is able to complete this by time which is almost 3 years as per official sources, so we required 3+5 = 8 years, in order to have doubling of MUE-PBN which is only 81 KM's. Then you can imagine how much time they will take for 291 KMs. After that, you'll introduce trains? Now, keep this stuck aside, my question is simple, in current infrastructure only, how southern bound trains gets adjusted? Although, there is huge traffic between NED-AWB, there is no intercity. In AWB itself, after 5 am, there is no train for NED till 11.30 which is Sachkhand Express and coming from Amritsar & house-full, passengers trains are used to run late by 2-3 hrs late. In order to have this intercity, is SCR needs to relay on anybody?
