Danapur: the danapur division of the eastern railway is well set to run one of the fastest trains 'sampoorna kranti' between patna and new delhi from february 16. this new train which will be flagged off by the railway minister nitish kumar, will leave patna junction at 6.20 pm next day reaching new delhi at 8.50 am the next morning. on its return journey, it will leave new delhi at 6.10 pm reaching patna at 8.45 am the next morning. according to railway sources, this superfast...

train will stop at mughalsarai and kanpur only. it will have the load combination of 17 coaches with ac i (one), ac ii (one), ac 3 (two), sleeper (six), general compartments (four), slr (two) and a pantry car. it will cover the distance between patna and new delhi in about 15 hours which is faster than two major superfast trains originating from patna — the magadh express and sharamjeevi express — sources said, adding that the division will thus provide four direct superfast trains for new delhi from patna — magadh express, sharamjeevi express, rajdhani express and sampoorna kranti express, the last being named after the total revolution of jayaprakash narayan. a railway official of danapur said the load combination of the sampoorna kranti express train has been designed to cater to the needs of the elite class and common people as well. the ticket-booking for this new train has also started at each computerised reservation counter in the division, he said.besides, the railway minister will flag off yet another train between rajgir and patna on february 15 at rajgir.
