workprogressattheproposedkhanalampuraels.jpgHi Vinay Sir . This is an IRFCA Photo of the proposed Khanalampura Electric Loco Shed near Saharanpur . This loco shed is supposed to home 3 - Phase Electric Locos (especially WAG - 9 Locos for freight operations on Khurja - Meerut - Saharanpur Section of the Planned Eastern Freight Corridor) . Apart from this SRE will get a new loco shed , as there is no existing diesel/electric loco shed on the entire Back Line Route . One diesel loco shed is in Lucknow (LKO) and the other one is at Ludhiana (LDH) . Thanks .
