Hello everyone. Had few query regarding Katra ( SVDK ) station and trip to vaishno devi (darshan).
I have booked for trip in MAY 2016. Will be reaching by Shri Shakti Express (#22461) at 5:10 am.
Query regarding SVDK railway station is:
1. Is there locker / cloakroom facility at station ( round the clock ) ?

Are there waiting rooms ( paid, for bathing ) ?
I am planning my trip as follows:
DAY 1: 5AM arriving via shri shakti express
Taking rest and getting freshen up at waiting rooms at station ( if available ? )
Booking for 2 way helicopter trip for darshan ( 8:30 am -12 pm slot )
After Darshan, return to IRCTC hotel aprox by 1 pm ( which also I will be booking )
DAY 2: Taking rest whole day
Catch the night train #22462
Pls help guys.. I don't want to make a mess out of a holy trip. Also lastly I will be travelling with family (Wife and Son<5 yo)
If anyone have made 2 Way helicopter trip, any tips would be of great help ( Like which is best slot, is there priority darshan, how long does it take via foot from sanjichhat to bhavan ).

If you start by 8:30 via helicopter than you will be able to reach bhawan by 10am and then depends on the queue it might take 2-3 hours being vacation period so you will only be able to free by 1pm and then again back to sanjhi chatt from where helicopter takes off and it takes around 1 hr of leisure walk from bhawan to helicopter. So you will have to take helicopter between 2:30-4pm slot an you will be back by 6-7 pm at the hotel. But again this is very tight schedule if it rains that day then.................. Jai Mata Di.

Issue is, these helicopter 2 way tickets have slots. And each slot is only 3 hrs or so. So I would have to hassle. And Bhairav baba temple is almost impossible with such time limit.
Anyone pls suggest some tips.
