Evening observations at Pune on Wednesday, 14-Jan-2009, Makar Sankrant or Pongal Day, from 18:50 to 19:00 hrs!
1) 1009 Mumbai-Pune Sinhgad Exp came on PF4 with KYN WCG2 # 20154.
2) Lonavala-Pune EMU came on PF1. Later, the same local runs back as Pune-Lonavala local at 19:00 hrs.

1556 Solapur-Pune Passenger came on PF6 with GY WDM3A # 14009 baldie (buldge face towards Mumbai side).
4) 6210 Mysore-Ajmer Exp came on PF3 with GY WDG3A # 14715 and then got ready with BL WCAM1 # 21829.
5) 1547 Pune-Baramati Passenger departed from PF5 with blue PUNE WDM2 # 17516. Train departed late by 20 min!
6) 1019 Mumbai-Bhubaneshwar Konark Exp came on PF2 with orange KZJ WDM3A # 18980R.
7) Pit line near PF6 had orange KZJ WDG3A # 14658 taking rest (loco in shut down condition).
8) Announcement was made that 0922 Kolhapur-Rajkot Holiday Special will come on PF2 at 19:20 hrs (i.e. after departure of Konark Exp from PF2). Yesterday, I had checked running status of 0921 Rajkot-Kolhapur Holiday Special and the same was running late by almost 5 hours! And as the same rake returns back as 0922 KOP-RJT Winter Spl, this train was running late by 2 to 3 hours!
9) Two Valsad WCAM1 locos were ready inside electric trip shed. 1 BL WCAM1 will haul weekly 1096 Pune-Ahmedabad Ahimsa Exp (expected to depart today from PF5 at 19:50 hrs) and second BL WCAM1 will haul weekly holiday spl train 922 RJT Special!
