Can anybody know the fine amount for not carrying the original Id proof?The Tte just fined an aged person 500 rupees for not being able to produce the original id card as he has been pickpocketed in howrah station.The gentleman also produced the GD SLIP that he filed with Hwh GRP..I argued with the TT on what charge he is charging 4 times the fare.He gave us no reasons and went out to call the RPF...HOW come he be so rude to a person who has gone through an unfortunate incident? #admins and fellow members can you give me a detail of the fine that can be truely charged?I cant find any online..the regular MST PEOPLE stood by the man and we r going to charge him the moment he returns...#Inforequired..
Charges are genuine. In my recent travel in ADI SJ Rajdhani, my co-passenger was without proper original ID proof. TTE just mentioned it's chargeable case but he didnt do anything and left. For 3AC, it was 500 or more as he mentioned.

That is for 3Ac right? he is travelling in D1..I can accept double the charge..but 500 for an 100 rupee fare is not acceptable..moreover he is not giving the brake-up of the charge..if a new ticket is issued then also 250 penalty plus the original fare..which will come around 340...which is nnowhere near 500..its simply unacceptable..
