krishnameledom 18 blog postsI am a frequent passenger in 16527 to Palakkad. This train is unnecessarily holding its time after Coimbatore to bypass Mangalore Mail, 12601.
It will wait for 10 mins before Pothannur and will leave only after 12601 passed Mathukarai. Fun is that 12601 has ample time to reach Palakkad/ Shornur. Only Palakkad passengers are facing difficulty because of this. Its high time, railway should consider passengers constrain in reaching destinations on time.

Yes, it should revert back to its old time table. I remember 16527 reaching Palakkad before time @ 3:45.
Overtaking 56653 is never possible, One of the reason why 16527 was slow downed from previous 8.30 to current 9.30 was 56653.
So called Passenger association protested this overtake saying that, they are reaching late bcoz of this overtake. Hence 16527 was slow down drastically.
Ur 16527 timetable is really good, hope SR consider it.. 16527 is the only express train which ran as SF in Kerala, but TTs made it express again.

I got the reply also like that ( The train no.56653 CLT-CAN pass. is daily commuter train, viz office goers and scool/college students travelling by the passeger train. Hence the change in timings of train no. 16527 YPR-CAN Exp. berfor reaching Kannur Station is not operationally feasible.)
It looks like passenger train is getting more weightage than SF/Exp train.

return is not having much issue only 16527 is having the issue
