To be fair though, the lack of patronage is not due to a lack of demand from VSKP. A big chunk of the traffic consists of IT employees and students, who usually prefer buses as the direct trains are not available on fridays and sundays ( something I observed during my stay in chennai over 4 years). Quite a big chunk used to take connecting trains to BZA and use GT/TN from there or catch Circar express ( my regular train from CCT-MS) from SLO ( all three have early morning arrivals at MAS/MS).
If not a daily train, at least converting both the existing weeklies to bi-weeklies ( by adding runs on Friday evening from Chennai

and Sunday evening from VSKP), with a slightly earlier arrival at MAS ( 7:30 - 8 AM), would be really useful. A daily is most welcome, but at least a seamless service on weekends will help the city's commuters a lot. Even if the existing bi-weekly dedicated trains are moved to cover the weekend, there will be a good increase in patronage.
And as another blogger suggested, a daily to SBC via PER with early morning arrival at PER ( just trailing Kaziranga SF) will be a real sweet deal.

Thats what i also said....A 6 days a week slot sharing (same departure time from VSKP as that of SBP YPR Suvidha i.e 4.30 pm) and early morning arrival at Perambur and then further daytime intercity type run from Perambur to YPR would be great. But some members instead of looking for Overall benefits , just see target specific and harmful options like 2 dedicated daily separate trains for Bangalore and chennai. Whereas if by 1 single train all these three- Vizag , Chennai and bangalore can be covered , then why extra train.

Mind your language you fool.
Who the hell do you think you are to speak like this ?
Idiots. Don't even know how to speak.
What is meant by GUTS ? Starting any train from any city is in hands of RAILWAY BOARD and DELHI Minister, not in yours or mine.

if they have started some trains or no trains , all has enough reason to back up. The people in Railway Board are FAR more knowledgeable than you and me.
So just shut up and get some tutions first for politely speaking on Open blogs.
Thanks.

The modification to the TL Update scheme - i.e. the introduction of the new RAC System - has led to some efficiency with TL Updates. More TLs are being discussed, and quickly moved up. However, we still have on Average, about 300 Waitlisted TLs in the backlog at any time, and our hard-working and diligent TLMs...

Often we have some TL Entries seemingly in WaitList forever. Usually, the reason for this is that TLMs have already looked at the TL Entry but are not confident enough to Confirm it or are looking for more inputs from the Member regarding the source, etc. And this delay eventually causes...

This is to address persistent and lingering questions about FM Appointments: . 1. Being an FM is a service. It is NOT supposed to be some kind of "reward" or "medal" to "deserving" members. The ULTIMATE OBJECTIVE of the process is to promptly handle/look into Reports filed by members, which is expected to...
