New Delhi to Visakhapatnam 22416 AP AC Super Fast Express train has ultra-modern LHB coaches, designed to travel at 160 KMPH. But, it travels at a very modest speed of 58 KMPH.
“The train has many halts between New Delhi and Visakhapatnam, but arrived at every station before scheduled time and was made to wait till its scheduled departure,” says Vivek Thakur.
“It sometimes used to stop at unscheduled station to give way for the other express trains. Why does ECoR not push this train as a Rajdhani Express, when it has all...
more... the qualities? In united AP there was a Rajdhani (12437/8) and after formation of Telangana that Rajdhani was awarded to Telangana State”.
It’s time for A.P. to demand its share of Rajdhani. At a time when a smaller state like Goa is allotted Rajdhani (22413/4), why can't A.P. have it?
Many people from A.P. visit Kashi (Varanasi). As there is no direct train from Visakhapatnam, they are going to Bhubaneswar and catching Neelachal (12875) (via Tatanagar) or Nandan Kanan (12815) (via Adra). Both trains start from Puri and go to New Delhi via Kashi. In view of this it will be nice if both trains are made daily and if Nandan Kanan (12815) is extended till Visakhapatnam, or some slip coaches are attached to it. This will benefit thousands of pilgrims going to Kashi .
