Sample of a terrific response from Indian Railway's Customer Care:
The issue raised was:
12076/75 TVC CLT TVC JanSatabdi Express was granted temporary stoppage @ SRTL just before last Lok Sabha elections. I do accept that there are some genuine passengers in this train to/from SRTL. But mostly, this stoppage is being regularly misused by short distance passengers, mainly season ticket holders travelling to ERS from SRTL. They board this train from ALLP/SRTL and occupy empty seats in Jan Chair Cars. When the train is fully booked, they occupy space earmarked for Mini

Pantries, passages & vestibules, causing inconvenience to genuine passengers. Same is the case when the train coming from CLT leaves for TVC from ERS @ 1720.
The request was:
So, request you to kindly look into the matter and do the needful either to withdraw the stoppage @ SRTL, if the patronage doesnot justify it. Even if the stoppage is continued, strict measures have to be taken to prohibit entry of unauthorised persons(especially season ticket holders) in Jan Satabdi Express, which is a fully reserved service belonging to Satabdi category.
The reply obtained is:
Temporary stoppage was provided for 12075/12076 TVC-CLT-TVC Jan Shatabdi Exp at SRTL by the Railway Board. There is no proposal for withdrawal of this temporary stoppage.
Hats off to Sr DCM/TVC for not even bothering to go into the details of a complaint raised by a passenger, quoting even PNR number!!

This type of official should be removed/retire like yesterday when GOI made 33 official in tax department for inefficiency.

I very well know that none of the temporary stoppages will get removed. But is it not fair to demand ban on entry of unnauthorized passengers(especially those travelling between ALLP/SRTL to ERS and back on season tickets) in a special class train like JanSatabdi?

The fact is season ticket holders from ALLP & SRTL are regularly commuting by 12076 JanSatabdi Express & they are returning by 12075. If we board JS with a waitlisted paper ticket, we are treated as ticketless and penalised. But when season ticket holders do the same, there is no action and you get such irresponsible replies!!

Yes, 12075/76 has this issue. Especially after SRTL stops was included. Season Ticket travelers are using the train.

There has recently been a lot of frustration among RFs when their Station Pics, Loco Pics, Train Pics get rejected because the "number is not showing", "shed is not visible", the loco/train is at a distance, Train Board is too small, "better pic available", etc. . To address this issue, effective tomorrow, ALL...

A minor update, but may impact many members: Hereafter, FMs will be able to delete invalid Red Flags on Imaginary trains. -@all members: As of recently, there has been a trend whereby minor name updates of Trains/Stations - whether such and such regional name should be there or not, whether the train should be called "Abc Express" or "Abc Superfast Express", etc. are threatening to take over the majority of Timeline entries. Also,...
