Kiran SMuragodnavar~ 97 blog postsNo D1 coach exists in this train.All coaches are used as same and if asked they said this is a local train and reservation only in express trains.I booked 2S ticket but it was wasted.
Kindly do not post misleading info. The D1 coach is the second last coach and is manned by a TTE ALWAYS and the reserved coach status is strictly followed. Unreserved passengers are asked to vacate if at all they end up boarding D1. I'm a regular traveler on this train since years.
When I booked ticket in 2S due to peak season all were unreserved.I think D1 coach is not working due to no bookings.Sorry if I was wrong.I went through every coach to find it but not available.
It is fully functional and is at the last, just in front of guard's coach, manned by a TTE. I just traveled in this train on Thursday both ways.
Earlier D1 & D2 were last two coaches from MAO. TTE Wont allow unreserved passengers.

hello! TTE won't allow unreserved passengers on D1. I have experienced. I had booking in D1 and he came for checking at MAJN.
He was asking unreserved people to move to next coach. No rush today in train. Not sure what is routine!
