Hi this is Kiran from Dandeli,Uttara Kannada district.We are 4 members in our family and we planned to travel to Dharmasthala our most trusted temple.We first came to Mangalore by Konkan.And then Thursday evening we planned to go to Dharmasthala in evening and booked return ticket as a plan to travel from Dharmasthala to Hassan Friday evening and catch night Mysore Dharwad Express and come to Dharwad and back to Dandeli.
I booked the ticket but it was GNWL 95/47 for 4 members.I was scared so much because 6 predictions said it will not confirm.

finished Darshan and left Dharmasthala at 5 Pm to reach Hassan at almost 9 to 10 pm,because our train was at 12:30 am.We took ksrtc bus leading to Bangalore.We travelled through Shiradi ghats and due to rain and destructions on road,we reached finally Hassan at 10:00 pm.Due to no network in ghats we weren't able to understand our wl status.We were tensed but at last after reaching Hassan I checked pnr status and to my luck we got 2 rac seats.I was very happy.
After reaching Hassan there was food track canteen and we had idli and puliogare.It was very very tasty but quite costly.We were not able to understan our coach position,but understood after IRI site.Our coach was S4.There were 2 waiting rooms and dormitory and double bed room retiring rooms.Station was super and neat and clean.
After so much waiting at 12:28 am our loco entered station slowly honking.Train was full and Hassan station was full to board general coaches.After finding our coach we saw the chart and boarded the train.The coach was excellent very clean and lightes were switched off and fully silent and people were sleeping.We found our seats and some one occupied our seats,but gave after our coming.We sat there.Our loco started and reached a decent speed.We adjusted ourselves and sat because of rac and was thinking how to sleep whole night.Tte came and checked our ticket.He was very very kind.Talked politely and said 2 seats are empty and u can occupy.I was very very happy so that our money was not wasted.Then we found our berths and slept there.I was unable to sleep because it was very late and was not getting sleep.Then came Arsikere and this is amazingly very punctual reached for correct second.Then crossed Hubli Bangalore fast Passenger and Vasco Chennai express.Atlast slept at 2:30 am.Then got up at 6:30am and sat near the window.Toilets were very clean and neat.Then stopped at Yalvigi for Dwr Sbc Intercity express crossing.Then again stop in Kundagol for crossing Hubli Bangalore passenger so 10mins late.At 7:40 reached Hubli junction very busy and buzzing all the time.Quite hungry so tasted Idli Wada 3 idli and 1 Wada for ₹30.Very tasty.Then after 15 mins halt left Hubli.Then very decent speed and watching wonderful Hubli.Then stopped at Navalur so many passengers got down.Then finally at 8:30 am reached Dharwad a couple of mins late.After that one officer checked our ticket and we leaded towards city bus and reached Dandeli safely and happily.
A Very comfortable and nice journey.Very punctual and very good food.Local vendors sell News paper and coffee tea in morning
