I don't know how many of you are aware of the super rush that causes too much of harakiri on MEMU trains on PNBE-GAYA line. There is not a single day, even on weekends, that the trains seem to run light. Especially during Morning and Evening hours, passengers even with average luggage have to risk themselves travelling on these trains. Ofcourse, I have also suffered many times.
To overcome this my suggestion is to:
1) Either, increase the frequency of MEMU trains to every 45-50 minutes (atleast 1 hour) during morning hours i.e....
more... 6am-10am and evening hours i.e. 5pm-9pm.
2) Or increase rake size by atleast 2 more rakes.
Either of these solution will certainly lighten the load on each MEMU trains. First option provides better & promising solution but second one seems more viable. Although I am sure that neither of these solution will ascertain a seat for passengers boarding the trains in between Patna-Gaya. ;)
