Now-a-days many people ask for Shatabdi/Rajdhani.. I am compiling here a list of Rajdhanis which can be sustainable connect different places and do no violate the Rajdhani concept as well
1) NDLS-UMB-CDG-ANSB-NLDM-UHL-PTKC-JAT (after completion of NLDM-MEX rail link, can be extended to Srinagar once Katra Banihal link is complete) (will connect 2 state capitals with NDLS) - Daily
2) NDLS-AGC-JHS-BPL-MMR-CSTM (will connect
2 state capitals with NDLS) - Biweekly
3) NDLS-LKO-GKP-PPTA (will connect 2 state capitals with NDLS) - Daily
4) NDLS-KOTA-BRC-KYN-PUNE-MRJ-LD-MAO (will connect 2 state capitals, KYN for Mumbai and MAO for Goa with NDLS) - Triweekly
5) NDLS-JP-ADI-BDTS (will connect 3 state capitals with NDLS) -Biweekly
6) NDLS-LKO-PNBE-GHY-AGTL (will connect 4 state capitals with NDLS) - Biweekly
Add if you feel more should be added

My take on Rajdhanis:
1. Good idea but starting this till Srinagar from the start and not daily would be better. The frequency can be increased later after more demand.
2. Bhopal already has many pass through Rajdhanis and a dedicated Shatabdi. If we look a pattern, all the near by state capitals of NDLS have a dedicated Shatabdi instead of Rajdhani. So I feel no need of a Rajdhani. An AC express/Humsafar or Duronto can suffice.
Both LKO and Patna has Shatabdi/Rajdhani. And PPTA station is not even fit for a superfast train. A Rajdhani for Northeastern state capital can instead run via GKP.
4. Present MAO Rajdhani can be considered for this route and for such frequency.
5. Delhi already has 2 Raj, 1 Duronto, 2 Garib Raths, 1Yuva, 1 Sampark Kranti for Mumbai apart from other trains. One more Rajdhani? JP has a double decker and Shatabdi, ADI has a dedicated Rajdhani.
6. Sure, but by passing LKO & via GKP. It should also by pass Lumding to avoid reversal.

Delhi - Mumbai has high passenger load and every year since last 10 years there have been many fully AC trains (through and dedicated) introduced such as NZM-BDTS GR, DEE-BDTS GR, LTT-NZM AC, LTT-HW AC, PUNE-NZM AC, NDLS-BCT DURONTO NDLS-MAO RAJDHANi, still demand is high and there is huge WL in GR and Raj, so 1 more Rajdhani can be started..

Its not just speed that has made Rajdhani famous and respected everywhere but also the fact that it is a limited service (with less stops) that too for state capitals. Too many Rajdhani can degrade the status. I would be, however happy with the idea of Hamsafar/Duronto to CSTM/Panvel (future)/Dadar

-@all members: As of recently, there has been a trend whereby minor name updates of Trains/Stations - whether such and such regional name should be there or not, whether the train should be called "Abc Express" or "Abc Superfast Express", etc. are threatening to take over the majority of Timeline entries. Also,...

The modification to the TL Update scheme - i.e. the introduction of the new RAC System - has led to some efficiency with TL Updates. More TLs are being discussed, and quickly moved up. However, we still have on Average, about 300 Waitlisted TLs in the backlog at any time, and our hard-working and diligent TLMs...
