KK express(aka Himsagar) !! This is an awesome train.. Traveled in it from katra till nagpur today... Few points worth noting
.
1) departs from platform 3 at katra
2) coach b1 has quota from svdk, uhp, ptkc
3)...

coach b2 has quota of ndls, ldh, bpq
4) pantry car service is fine and don't overcharge, tea is 7 rs and they don't force to take biscuits... Veg thali 105, 4 paratha and paneer sabji 60 rs..
5) it strolls around in ncr region for around 3 hours from shakur basti till nzm
6) after nzm, it runs as a superfast express with minimal stoppages..
7) my train was overtaken by gondwana at nzm only to be overtaken by himsagar at mathura..
8) did nzm - agc in around 2 hours!
9) gets full at uhp, ptkc stations
10) because of such large distance very easy to get tickets, if one is ready to change seats in intermediate stations
11) stops at delhi kishangunj, sadar bazar station
12) coaches are very clean and general coaches can be easily occupied from katra..
13) arrives pf# 7 at ndls..

for Himasagar, 17stops between NDLS and OGL, whereas for GT it's 36. Which means, 20 stops extra. With an average of 2-3min for each station and acceleration and declaration of 7-8min which is more. Moreover the slots are different. So, comparing GT and Himasagar is not feasible one.
