Trains
v1 pair of Weekly “Antyodaya” Superfast Express will be introduced between Santragachi-Chennai Central-Santragachi (No.22841/22842) every Monday from Santragachi and every Wednesday from Chennai Central.
v1 pair of Weekly “Antyodaya” Superfast Express will be introduced between Howrah-Ernakulam-Howrah (No. 22877/22878) every Saturday from Howrah and every Tuesday from Ernakulam.
v1 pair of Weekly “Humsafar” Superfast Express will be introduced between Howrah-Yesvantpur-Howrah (No.22887/22888) every Tuesday from Howrah and every Thursday from Yesvantpur.
v1 pair of Weekly Superfast Express will be introduced between Hatia-Ernakulam-Hatia (No. 22837/22838) every Monday from Hatia and every Thursday from Ernakulam.
v1 pair of Bi-weekly “Antyodaya” Superfast Express will be introduced between Tatanagar-Lokmanya Tilak (T)-Tatanagar (No.22886/22885) every Sunday & Thursday from Tatanagar and every Tuesday & Saturday from LTT.
v1 pair of Weekly “Humsafar” Express will be introduced between Kamakhya-Bengaluru Cantt-Kamakhya via Howrah (No.12504/12503) every Tuesday from Kamakhya and every Friday from Bengaluru Cantt.
The date of introduction of above Mail/Express Trains will be notified later.

Change in Train Timings
v13403/13404 Ranchi-Bhagalpur Vananchal Express, 18007 Shalimar-Bhanjpur Simlipal Express and 22854 Viaskhapatnam-Shalimar Express will run in more convenient timings which will be available in the New Time Table-2016
Change in Character of Trains
v18001/18002 Howrah-Digha Kandari Express will run as Superfast Express with Revised Train No.22897/22898 w.e.f. 1stOctober, 2016
v18003/18004 Jhargram-Purulia Express will run as Superfast Express with Revised Train No.22821/22822 w.e.f. 1stOctober, 2016
v18105/18106 Rourkela-Bhubaneswar Intercity Express will run as Superfast Express w.e.f. 1st October, 2016. However, Revised Train No. of 18105/18106 Rourkela-Bhubaneswar Intercity Superfast Express as 22839/22840 will be effective from 20thDecember, 2016
Change in Departure Time at Different Originating Stns. over SER
The departure time of 12 Mail/Express Trains originating from Howrah, Shalimar, Kharagpur, Haldia, Digha and Ranchi will be changed. This apart, departure timings of 4 Passenger/DEMU Trains will also be changed from Howrah, Balasore, Baripada and Rupsa w.e.f. 1st October, 2016.
Additional Stoppages
11 pairs of Mail/Express Trains including Duronto Express will have additional stoppages which will be effective from 1st October, 2016.
Acceleration of Trains
23 Mail/Express/Passenger Trains including Rajdhani Express will be accelerated over S E Railway system ranging from 2 minutes to 20 minutes which will also be effective from 1st October, 2016.
