Pointsman Koragappa Naik of operating department, South Western Railways (SWR), flagged off the train here at 8.10 pm. The train departs the station here on every Wednesday at the given time and reaches Chennai following day at 5.15 am. The train departs Chennai at 11.30 pm on Thursday and reaches Mysore at 8.35 am following day.
