1. the service provided by the Meal on wheel vendor is very poor. the food is tasteless and of poor quality, almost everybody complaining about it and meal was not served on time breakfast is not provided till 11 a.m. further there are serving food items on selective basis (items are not provided to each passanger) because of this there was chaos/confusion in the coach b5. they are refusing to serve food to child ( having half tkt with seat) giving excuse of name not mentioned in the chart ( althogh the fare includes catering charges),...

IR already facing the pinch of surge pricing most demanded Rajdhani also travelling lite of late...
sir ...what you can do is tweeting the same to IR and posting here so that others also knows the situation...

Next Time if you suffer this kind of attitude in Any train, kindly register your complaint in the complaint book provided to the PC manager and also with the Coach attendent.
Now everything what you said is correct and unacceptable. BUT regarding Water bottle, Sir The Railways Catering Rules say that Only ONE water bottle is to be provided to a passenger for a time span of 20hrs. NDLS-TATA journey duration is 17:30hrs, so you are allowed for 1 bottle only. This doesnt means that If the train is delayed by 2-3hrs, the will give away the bottles for free.You have to purchase the extra bottle if you need.

Are they serving some special kind of water ? In howrah raj a bottle is for 15 Rs. !!
