GUWAHATI, Oct 26 - In response to widespread passenger demand in the Guwahati-Naharlagun section, Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has attached four additional coaches to the 15617/15618 Intercity Express running between Guwahati-Naharlagun to clear the rush of passengers.
Two AC 3-tier and two sleeper class coaches have been added to the train and attachment of these additional coaches will augment the capacity of the Intercity Express by another 544 berths in each trip, said a statement issued by NFR Chief Public Relations Officer Pranav Jyoti Sharma.
