Since a long demand for End to End WAP7 for Puroshottam Express, still Railways is not providing the same. Some time it is running with P4 instead of P7 and regular P4 from KGP to PURI & viceversa.
There should be a WAP7 ELS for SER as well ECoR.

My curiosity lies in what difference do you think a WAP7 would make, sir!
The differences in performance of a WAP7 & WAP4 are far too much alike to cause any significant change in a SF of Purushottam's capabilities...
For crawlers, yes , a P7 can do wonders but there would be no difference in Puru's performance as per what I think...

ECoR & SER would provide those locos for all Premium class trains Like (BBS Raj, Coro, Puru, PUI shatabdi HWH-YPR Duro, PUI-HWH Exp etc.) running on this section.
Well said,sir!! People just have some very bad misconceptions about locomotives and their capabilities!
Why ? Train will run according to its time table and speed limits it's not like WAP 7 will make trains run like aeroplanes. Railways knows what they're doing, WAP 4 is not a steam locomotive. I don't know what's wrong with people.
