It will look as if the train is above 110 kmph, but actually in real sense it will under its MPS or equal to MPS only.

Actually, isn't "brute force" that is being expected, but actually acceleration and balancing speed. A WAM4 would maintain lower speed on a continuous gradient, compared to WAPx, WCAM3 and WCAM2P.
WAP1's issue occurred in BNI-BKA section, and one of the reasons stated was the poor driving technique employed by the LP. Loco link was provided by CR, not NR :P
682 31-Jul-16 12137 Dir 43 WCR BPL 22065 GZB WAP1 Conventional Miscellaneous Train (CSTM-FZR, 24-B) loss on run between BNI-BKA due to WAP-1 loco provided by CR instead of WAP-4. 0 (1) No trouble in AC loco. (2) It is a link of WAP-7/4 loco but

in this case WAP-1 loco was wrongly provided ex LTT/BB Div.of CR. (3) There was heavy rain in section & sanders were working. (4) LP wedge Q-51 relay at BNI which is before enterning into the ghat section & there was raining in section. (5) Even after the loco was healthy, LP (JHS/NCR) could not haul the load in a graded section of 1:125 due to poor driving technique & lost 21" as loss on run. (6) Sr.DEE/TRO/BPL informed to Sr.DEE/TRO/JHS. (7) Punctuality of this train was initially shown on Other Railway (ORL) account but lateron Traffic deptt (Rly Bd) has changed the head and wrongly shown on Direct AC loco (DELC) account. Crew/Loco Operation

-@all members: As of recently, there has been a trend whereby minor name updates of Trains/Stations - whether such and such regional name should be there or not, whether the train should be called "Abc Express" or "Abc Superfast Express", etc. are threatening to take over the majority of Timeline entries.
