And how is it that locos will stay on the tracks 100 percent if locos derail than LPs will be at risk too. But earlier 22 coach trains were running fine here. No incident happened. Sometimes 22 coach Amaravati express used to run with one HCPV too and that too with Alcos as bankers and operations were fine but now on upgrading Bankers to EMDs they brought down to 20. Instead of upgrading the route to accommodate 24 coach trains from 22 they went step back to 20.

How long does it takes to upgrade just a 26 kilometers of route to accommodate 24 coachers. More than 13 years ?
SWR formed in 2003 since then only two trains introduced by them on this route and two weeklies ie. VSG MAS and VSG VLKN. Amaravati express to Howrah was demanded by SER and only because Mamta Didi it got extended with one day frequency increase.
So SWR track record in 13 years is only two weeklies introduced on VSG LD route and downgrade coach capacity from 22 to 20 instead of upgrade to 24.
Whereas rest in India zones are planning to go 26 coaches.
