In Nizamabad city limits there are 4 road rail crossings, there's ROB at Kanteshwar, Road Fly Over near Namdevwada and the other 2 are level crossings (each at Gunj Market and Arsapally). Since the Railway Ministry has taken the initiative of removing the level crossings to either construct ROB or an RUB, the Gunj level crossing (situated at 500mts from station) is one of the major concern in the town as the construction of an RUB or ROB is not feasible there, as there is very less space and it has heavy traffic and most of the whole seller stores. SCR should so something asap, though it is busy area ,each half an hour the railway gate is closed and the only other way to cross this level crossing is to take the flyover, which would make the 200 meters distance to 1 and half kilometer.
