Mumbai: Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) first point of sale (PoS) machine was fixed for digital booking on Monday. This PoS machine would be fixed at all station soon.
Indian Railways asked the State Bank of India and ICICI bank along with others to provide around 15,000 PoS machine at the reservation counter. Two windows of CST station have been fixed to make railway travel booking digital. From this machine you can swipe your debit and credit cards to get a ticket. In addition Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) will also be fixing PoS machines.

All the Railway station counter / Reservation center also installed with POS Swipe machine early.Or Debit / Credit card transfer to the IR accounts have to be expedited early for cashless transactions with 2% concessions.
