Post gauge conversion, the distance between the two important cities of MP & CG namely, Jabalpur and Raipur will be shortened by a significant amount. The intercity passenger & goods movement will be dependent mostly on railways. Presenting an Intercity from Raipur to Jabalpur with morning journey via Gondia. Dear friend this is a great train and my green flag for this one. This is no ordinary train and has a lot of associated history & geography which I have tried to touch upon:
(1) This train is a very much needed train and is almost a reality when the JBP-G conversion is over in 2-3 years. This train should be christened as Amarkantak Express.
(2) This train should depart R at 6:00 to 6:30 so as to make it convenient for R citizens to board this train. The return train

too should depart from JBP earlier so as to reach R around 22:00 to 22:15 instead of 22:55. This train may be extended to BSP if possible (a little bit of speeding up may be required)
(3) JBP-G-R may run combined with another train JBP-G-NGP between JBP-G
(4) There should be reverse train R/NGP-G-JBP leaving JBP in the morning and reaching back to JBP in return journey at night.
(5) After introduction of this JBP-G-R Durg-JBP-BPL Amarkantak express need to be introduced on BSP-NGP-BPL-INDB route as Mahanadi express. As the Amarkantak express was introduced to give connection between R/Durg to JBP by diverting Mahanadi express via JBP (from initial route via NGP) and renaming it as Amarkantak express. And when a direct connectivity is established, the same Amarkantak need to be restored back as Mahanadi.

Now a Great train, but still more improvements possible
must stop at RJN, & Bhilai power house(BIA) which are much more important and potent stations than DGG, Balaghat, Nainpur, Ghunsore halts of the train.
Too aggressive between R-Durg should be atleast 30-32 minutes and with BIA stop 36-40 minutes.
Too aggressive between DGG-G (Ghat section)
