another reason of using air piston system is this that..
it would rest on any level of platform.. and only sandwiched step (step1+step2) down upto 10 inch
and second step ll
start going down in that case if there are no platform.
total height of 20 inch (10x10inch) both steps ll cover in expanded position.

it ll reduce risk of falling paxs between trn nd pf gap..
sr. citizens can easily board in trn at low level pf. also.
becoz steps are reducing height between pf level and coach floor level.

will be useful to people who board trains from halts or small stations which have platforms literally at ground level and it becomes a nightmarish task especially for women & elders to board the train from that low level platform. Now for this hydraulic step two things would be needed, first loco having very power compressor to maintain hydraulic pressure in the stair case as well as in the break pipe of coaches. Currently only freight locos have that much power compressor. Second, modification in high level platforms otherwise the stair will collide with it.

There has recently been a lot of frustration among RFs when their Station Pics, Loco Pics, Train Pics get rejected because the "number is not showing", "shed is not visible", the loco/train is at a distance, Train Board is too small, "better pic available", etc. . To address this issue, effective tomorrow, ALL...

-@all members: As of recently, there has been a trend whereby minor name updates of Trains/Stations - whether such and such regional name should be there or not, whether the train should be called "Abc Express" or "Abc Superfast Express", etc. are threatening to take over the majority of Timeline entries. Also,...
